“I Don’t Get Here Without Kofi and Woods” – Big E Opens Up on His Win at Money in the Bank

Big E won the Money in the Bank 2021 Men’s Ladder Match, and now he holds the contract to challenge a world champion at any point.

After winning the ladder match, Big E cut a promo backstage alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to explain what this victory means to him. Moreover, he revealed that none of it would have been possible without The New Day.

“It signifies for me, It’s been a lot of years of working and trying to be in this position to be at the very top.”

“I’ll say it till I’m on my death bed, I don’t get here without Kofi and Woods. I don’t get here without The New Day, I’m thankful man, I’m thankful. But the work just starts here. There’s no resting in my laurels and I’m not thinking I made it, you got the briefcase yet I’m not the World Champion yet.”

Even Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston agreed that from this point onwards, there is only one way forward. The tag team knows that with the next step, Big E will become the champion.

Obviously, E has enough time to make an informed decision and cash in his Money in the Bank contract at a good time which could possibly guarantee a win.

Who can Big E challenge with his Money in the Bank contract?

Considering his bond with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, it’s possible he will go after WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

Recently, both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston went up against Lashley. Unfortunately, neither of them could survive against him. In fact, Kingston went up against Lashley at Money in the Bank 2021 itself where Lashley destroyed Kingston.

Therefore, Mr. Money in the Bank 2021 can decide to challenge Bobby Lashley and avenge his former team’s partners. Moreover, this will be a good way for him to make a new image for himself at WWE.

During the backstage promo, he revealed that at WWE he is still seen as the Superstar who had a great tag team and works really well with The New Day. However, he wants to be known as someone who is equally good at working feuds and matches by himself.

“I’m feeling like we’ve been crowned the greatest tag team of all time. But that’s how they see me, that’s my position in this company. But for me, to show that I can run with the ball, that means everything.”

Only time will tell how Big E wants to move forward with his Money in the Bank contract.
