Mickie James on her “Trash Bag” incident
On the May 7, 2021, episode of the ‘Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette’, Mickie James was invited over as a guest. They talked about various things which included the infamous “trash-bag” incident that happened with Mickie James.
Renee reminded Mickie that she was trending on Twitter because of the incident. To this, Mickie replied,
“I was trending — oh man so many things that happened you know Renee. It’s been a whirlwind, like a real whirlwind, like in a weird space you know. Because at first, I was just like ‘oh okay, well I guess you know not, like that’s fine like whatever next chapter’ and you just kind of do it. But then like I mean I didn’t want to trend over a trash bag for god’s sakes you know.
“I kind of in that moment was like ‘oh they still do this like that’s kind of funny’. Like ‘oh on par’ for like in that moment you know. I don’t know it was like in a space of like you know when you feel you — first leave and you’re just like ‘oh that’s kind of it kind of sucks’ but there’s always like so many things. — I was just kind of like ‘ah I just wish for so many things’ and I get my stuff and it’s in the trash bag and I’m just like ‘oh it’s on par whatever’, yeah”
James revealed that she didn’t even feel like it was something that was malicious or anything of the sort. She said that it was thoughtless and “tone-deaf”.
Mickie’s “Trash-Bag” Tweet
