“I Didn’t Know Anything” – Becky Lynch Spills the Beans on a Stunning Project Set to Release in 2024, Which Required Her to Professionally Try a Whole New Skill

The WWE Universe is always excited to get to know more about the lives of their favorite superstars. While some fans love to see more of the on-screen characters in bonus episodes and shows, many fans wish to know about the person playing the character’s role. Giving her fans an inside look at her life, WWE star Becky Lynch has revealed she is working on a fantastic new project.

The Irish pro wrestler is one of WWE’s most beloved stars. In fact, Twitter named Lynch the sixth entry in its list of Top Global Female Athletes in 2019. In a recently uploaded podcast episode, Lynch has revealed taking on a brand new project that required her to learn an entirely new skill.

Becky Lynch picks up the pen to write about her life

Becky Lynch started her pro wrestling career in 2002. Initially working in Ireland and winning through multiple shows and events, the star wrestler earned a WWE contract in 2013 when she was signed up for NXT.

She received instant love and recognition from the audience. Lynch accomplished several feats in a very short time. Afterward, she became the first woman to hold the RAW and the SmackDown championships at Wrestle Mania 35 in 2019.

In the latest episode of Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, Lynch revealed that she is working on her autobiography. She said she is writing the entire manuscript and has even taken a course to sharpen her penmanship. 

Speaking about her experience, Becky Lynch said, “I did this writing course because I wanted to be good at it, and I found out how little I knew about writing, and it’s very intimidating. It was a circle program with other people reading your work and giving feedback, and it was very helpful.”

The journey of realizations

Speaking about her writing journey, Becky Lynch revealed that she learned much about herself. “We all think of ourselves as the hero of our own story. At some points, you look at yourself and go, ‘Oh, no, I was the asshole,’ “ she said. Becky admitted that writing was a humbling experience for her. She got to know about her limitations as well as her strength. 

Speaking on the podcast, Becky also said that she is very mindful about what kind of interviews she appears on. She admitted that what gets written about her affects her career and image in the world of pro wrestling, and she’d like to treat it carefully. 

Lynch won the 2019 Royal Rumble and the WWE Divas SmackDown Championship four times. She is looking forward to working more and winning more at the WWE.

Speaking about writing from childhood, Becky said, “I really love writing. It’s something I’ve done my whole life. My dad had me writing in journals for as long as I could write. I’ve always found that to be almost meditative.”

It was only after Becky took the writing course, did she realize her shortcomings in the area. “I didn’t know anything about writing,” said Lynch. Becky is currently working with her team of editors and is enjoying the process. The autobiography will hit the shelves in 2024.
