Three weeks ago, Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and the company itself came to the public’s attention. Days of turmoil and certainty ensued during a pivotal week of programming for WWE. A day later, when the possibility of definitively losing the biggest sponsor in the history of the company, Slim Jim, came into play, Vince resigned from all his positions in WWE and TKO. Moreover, the federal government has instigated an investigation into the matter.
During a recent interview, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was asked about his feelings upon learning of all the acts that McMahon had allegedly committed. Rollins didn’t hesitate for a second and shared some blunt words. Here is what he said.

In a recent appearance on the Fightful Wrestling Podcast with Sean Ross Sapp, Rollins talked about everything from his WrestleMania appearance, and contract renewal to the Vince McMahon scandal. And one could easily tell that he was uncomfortable with all that was happening with the company and the situation. He said, “It’s not, it’s a crap situation. I said it in the interview the other day at radio row. It sucks. It’s horrible. It’s disgusting. I don’t like hearing about it or reading about it. It’s abhorrent. And I hope that if the allegations are accurate, I hope that anybody who’s involved with it gets what’s coming to them because it sucks, dude.”

He further added, “And for me, it’s very difficult because, again, I didn’t see that side of him. You know what I mean? I didn’t experience that. And so when you see stuff like that, it’s jarring, and it’s painful, and it sucks all around. There’s just no other way to say it. It sucks. It really sucks”
Janel Grant’s attorney recently stated that they are not looking to settle to close the case, but rather want to go all the way so that justice is served. Although the lawsuit has already been filed, more details could emerge in the coming months. In addition, there is also the possibility that other victims will speak publicly about what happened, as there have been allegations of there being numerous women who McMahon paid to keep quiet.
