Recently, the recent episode of WWE Legends Biography featured Dusty Rhodes’ life with his near and dear ones recalling the memorable events of the late star’s life. His wife, Michelle Rubio, shared their initial courtship phase and her relationship with her late husband.

Reflecting on one particular thing he looked for in his future husband, Mrs. Rubio noted, ‘We dated for a while then we moved in together about a year what was important to me wasn’t the fact that he’d been divorced, I was more concerned about what kind of father he was. You can’t love a man if he’s a crappy father. We had gone out to Austin to visit Dustin and Kristen and just out of the blue, he asked me to marry him and I said yes ’cause I did want to get married.’

Dusty evidently cleared out all the doubts from his wife’s mind, being a wonderful father to two of his ablest son, Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes, one of the most talked about wrestlers on WWE’s current roster, shared a beautiful, adorable bond with his father. Apart from being a top-class wrestler, the American Nightmare is also a super compassionate son. Once he shared how his father’s hardships in the wrestling world used to hurt him as a child and how he badly wanted to rubbish all those criticisms about his dad through his work in the future.

Later, he also kept his word by being a most valuable wrestler in the business. Also, this is a well-known fact to every fan that he returned to WWE, leaving Tony Khan’s promotion back in 2022, only to fulfill his late father’s dream of winning the WWE Championship someday.

Though he couldn’t succeed in that as of now after losing the title to Roman Reigns in last week’s WrestleMania, wrestling fans keep believing in the phrase, ‘never say never’ to keep the hope alive.
