In his decades-long pro wrestling career, Edge has been a top WWE star from the start. Since his televised debut in 1998, he has been one of the prominent wrestlers of the promotion. Being in the business for so long, he has gathered ample experience. Among those, he recently disclosed a shocking anecdote from WWE’s Thunderdome Era as fans attended the events virtually. 

The Hall of Famer’s exceptional talent has been a major attraction for the promotion throughout his action days. However, not every day of his career was that great. He has also suffered his share of dull days when it appeared like nothing was working out. But The Rated R Superstar kept moving forward despite getting hurt from such instances. He shared one such instance during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic era.

Edge recalls the strenuous days of performing in WWE ThunderDome during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Speaking on Logan Paul‘s Impaulsive podcast, the 49-year-old legend narrated a shocking story from the past that revealed a lot about WWE. 

He said, “My God, when we were doing it in front of no one in the Thunderdome and I could hear the crew fart while I’m doing a match and I’d be like inside just landed, I just took a choke slam from Kane or something which really hurts, especially with no people and could literally hear a dude farting.

Yes, you read it right. The world’s largest pro wrestling company has also gone through those tough days when no one could come to watch their event during the Covid-19 Pandemic. But even on those days, stars like Edge had given their best, even though there was no one in front of them to cheer. 

Even though The Ultimate Opportunist was greatly hurt being in that situation, he kept going. This was possible for him because of his passion for the sport, which surpasses his love for acting as well.

Following his revelation about WWE ThunderDome Era, The Rated R Superstar couldn’t resist but express his immense love for the sport. He already talked about the feeling when there’s no audience in the arena to watch the wrestling match. Extending that point, he highlighted the adrenaline rush that he gets performing as a wrestler which even his acting career failed to provide.

The Hall of Famer said, “That’s what I found in any acting I’ve done, it’s great…but nothing for me, hits me in the heart, in the soul like [wrestling] does.

It must have been clear by now how much Edge loves wrestling. However, his recent comments on his future in wrestling might distress his fans.
