Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam has been released, and although it has pleased the fans, the critics? Not so much. Black Adam opened up with a disappointing score. The film received praise for its CGI, plot, and acting. However, the repetitive action scenes received backlashes.

With an impressive cast of Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, and Noah Centineo, the film was released in the theaters with high hopes from the fans. Black Adam was Johnson’s entry into the DCEU and Noah Centineo’s entry into superhero films. Centineo is known for his rom-com films on Netflix.

Recently for the promotions of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, Noah Centineo arrived on the Jimmy Fallon show. At the show, Fallon and Centineo discussed his work in the film, and the moments she spent with Johnson and Brosnan. Also, he shared his thoughts on if Dwayne Johnson was intimidating.

Centineo said that, although he himself is a big guy, was . Centineo revealed his first meeting with Dwayne Johnson. He said, “I might be smaller than him, the moment I saw him, I had one thought in my head, ‘I could take him. I’m looking at him. He’s looking at me. And I’m going, ‘Oh, I could f*** you up, bro.” 

Clearly, the 26-year-old actor was joking when he said the last sentence. He further revealed that he did not say that to Johnson’s face but instead told him from 500 feet away! Centineo plays Atom Smasher in the film, a superhero known for his strength and power of growth.

Is there going to be a Black Adam 2?

Black Adam ended on a high note. Dwayne Johnson was able to cater to the fans with his dedicated performance. The film’s post-credit scene revealed one of the most-talked-about superheroes in a long time. After several teases in different movies, The Superman finally showed up in Black Adam.

Although, both Warner Bros and the DCEU have confirmed no sequel, a potential sequel is still a talking point among fans. The point where the film ended teased a clash between those two stalwarts. However, 2023 is fully packed with different films by the DCEU, such as Flash, Shazam 2, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman.

With such a jam-packed year, 2023 seems an unlikely date for the sequel to release. The most favorable release for the film, if confirmed, seems to be 2024 or 2025. Black Adam concluded with a potential fight or collaboration between the two strongest entities in the DCEU.
