‘I Confronted the Rock’: Dwayne Johnson, Known for Being a Team Player, Got Into Heated Backstage Fight With Fellow WWE Star

Dwayne Johnson is unquestionably one of the most successful to ever enter the ring. Notably, he was well known for having a wonderful reputation for being a likable guy in the locker room, in addition to his wrestling skills and attitude in the ring. For that, legends like Randy Savage, aka Macho Man, complimented him.

However, not standing with his persona in the locker room, he once got into a heated backstage fight with the WWE star. The true details of the argument were also disclosed by the WWE star while discussing it in the interview.

In an interview, former WWE star Ahmed Johnson said that The Rock’s arrogance toward him caused them to argue. He stated, “He was saying some stuff, and it wasn’t about me just he was saying some stuff that I don’t think he should have been saying about anybody. And I came around and confronted him about it.”

Ahmed John claimed that The Rock’s increasing rudeness toward him prompted him to confront him. As John told The Rock that he was prepared to do all of his high spots for their upcoming match that evening, The Rock refused, and the two of them traded some shots.

Bruce Prichard has also talked about this and mentioned that Ahmed Johnson’s continual whining backstage eventually irritated The Great One. Prichard claims Ahmed was complaining about an issue when The Rock just said, “If you want to go, let’s go.” However, Ahmed withdrew and finished the conversation.

When is Dwayne Johnson returning to WWE?

Since leaving WWE in 2004, The Brahma Bull has appeared on many occasions. He did, face off against John Cena, the former WWE Champion, in two separate WrestleMania main events which were the last time when he did compete in a full match. In the meantime, WrestleMania 39 is anticipated to feature Dwayne Johnson.

Since The People’s Champ gained a massive following with his film, his reputation has continued to grow over the years. And the film was one of the reasons for his extended absence from WWE. However, based on the speculations, it can be said that he will make a grand return in 2023.
