Shoot, [Saturday], I was 100 percent and, of course, went back in action on Sunday, did a little extra physicality as a part of the show, but, you know, it’s just an exciting time for me to back to a business that I really, really love.”

“I never thought I’d be back in a ring but, there we were headlining, the main event for the — headlining WrestleMania for night one and it was just truly an honor to be out there.” (H/t – Fightful)

Later in the same interview, Stone Cold was asked if he would be present at Inglewood, California. As far as Austin’s concern about in-ring appearance, Stone Cold confirmed he was done with wrestling. However, if he gets a call from Vince McMahon to make his presence once again, he will be there.

Austin noted, “Never say never, but I would imagine, within the scope of that show, it’s going to be a big show in a big-time city. It will be a two-night event again. I’m sure I’m done wrestling, per se. But as part of WWE, I can’t imagine that I won’t be there in some capacity.”

“I’m not booking myself on the show because I didn’t book myself on 38. That’s a Vince (McMahon) thing, and I have a great relationship with him. If I get the call, I’ll be there,” Stone Cold Steve Austin added.

Given, The Texas Rattlesnake’s relationship with Mr. McMahon, Austin will do everything for the WWE Universe. The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame speech’s last statement, “Never say never,” inspired Stone Cold Steve Austin. WrestleMania 39 will occur in Hollywood on April 1st and April 2nd, 2023.
