Seth Rollins hasn’t been out there since the Elimination Chamber. The wrestler was defeated by The Miz soon after his loss in the United States Championship. However, Rollins is not that quiet of a person. It appears that he doesn’t take losses too hard on himself. In a recent podcast interview posted on the official channel of WWE, the 36-year-old talked his heart out.

It is not a shock to grow older and gain more experience. Everybody knows that this is a fundamental law of our reality. However, the truth and its reality come with a surprise at times. The popular wrestler was also met with this surprise as he discussed the same while talking to the screen.

Seth Rollins’ age hits him hard
Among various topics, fans’ attention will be caught by this specific one. While talking about how he felt when he first started getting recognition, he stumbled upon an interesting topic. He mentioned that recently, while talking to someone “substantially” on the roster backstage, he was hit with a sudden thought. This thought actually left Rollins questioning everything.

“I’m older now with some of these other guys than like when John Cena was on top when I came in? When I started working with John, I’m older than John was then,” said the confused Architect. Remembering his old days back, he realized that he has crossed the age his unofficial mentors were at the time of his entry to the gates of fame. Although some wrestlers remember John Cena being helpful to them, The Aerialist didn’t mention anything of that sort. However, he is still left in disbelief by this solid realization.
Seth Rollins tried to escape his own thoughts
In the interview, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins also recalled his own reaction to the realization. While relying on the cruel reality, The Architect said to himself, “I can’t even really process that… Because John was the ‘old guy’. John was the seasoned vet at that point.” For the wrestler, it is not hard to accept that he is now a superstar, but the fact that he is older than the people he used to look up to is a bit hard to deal with.

At last, the superstar was met with an opportunity to accept himself as he said, “I’m like no, I’m not that old guy… But I am… I’m that person that sits there now and wags my finger at everybody when they come through.”
