Chris Jericho was part of the inaugural Money in the Bank ladder match
The very first MITB ladder match was back at WrestleMania 21 in 2005 where many legendary Superstars got themselves involved.
The likes of Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Edge, Kane, Chris Benoit, and Christian put on an immortal performance together, and the rest is history.
Edge won the very first MITB briefcase. Because of the success of the inaugural ladder match, WWE featured MITB ladder matches more frequently at WrestleMania.
