With WrestleMania 39 right around the corner, there have been many speculations and possibilities floating in the air. One of the most recent stories concerns the Hall of Famer Kurt Angle’s possible appearance at “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
The Olympic Gold Medalist announced retirement back in 2019 after losing his last match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. However, the legend continued to appear occasionally several times since then.

Kurt Angle wasn’t happy stepping out of wrestling at all. His previous interviews had made it extremely clear that the star confessed to being in a dark phase since his discontinuation from the professional sport. However, it seems like King Kurt is about to mark his presence again in the WWE arena.
Kurt Angle teases his in-ring return
During the recent bonus episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt revealed his WrestleMania 39 plan. Detailing his utter intrigue about the upcoming WrestleMania, the retired star noted, ”I am doing an appearance for WrestleCon. I believe I’m going to do some stuff for WWE as well. I plan on going to WrestleMania for one day. I’m really excited about it. This is the first WrestleMania I’ve gone to in a while.”

Expressing his excitement and prediction about the most hyped Roman Reigns Vs Cody Rhodes match, he added, ”Right now, my flight plans leave Sunday morning. I’ll watch the first half of WrestleMania. I might stay and extend my flight to the next day, but I want to watch Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes because I believe he’s going to win the title.”
Angle’s past WrestleMania matches
Kurt Angle’s career is truly worthy of his status as one of the best, but it’s his performances at WrestleMania that separate him from the pack. He was involved in a total of 9 WrestleMania matches in his career, providing some entertaining fights for the audience.

Looking back to the matches, WrestleMania 21 is one of the worthiest to mention as Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels give it their all when they first time met each other on the grandest stage of wrestling. Angle won the encounter finally after a fierce affair between the two legendary superstars. It was one of the finest bouts of his career. WrestleMania 18 also saw Angle winning over Kane. Though this match was not up to the mark as Angle was already in a better position, still, his supremacy at WrestleMania can’t be denied.
However, currently, fans are waiting to see the wrestling machine wearing his wrestling boots once again.
