Charlotte Flair is arguably the greatest women wrestler of WWE in the present age. Along with attaining so much success, one will also be privy to criticism. Similarly, Flair also had to deal with her share of negative feedback. Sometimes her father, Ric Flair had to come to silence her daughter’s critics whereas some days she had to stand up for herself. Fans recently witnessed one such instance when The Queen hit back at her detractors.
Fans who are familiar with SmackDown’s Women’s Champion truly would know how much of a fighter she is. Not only in the ring, but in real life as well. In her wrestling journey, she came across several awful remarks, be it on nepotism or on her body. But the fighter in her has always stood up and fought, like once she did when fans body-shamed her following her WWE RAW return. Now, again, she fell prey to criticism and this time it’s her preference to be in the main event. To which she unabashedly called out fans.

During her interview with The Daytona Beach News Journal, The Nature Girl acknowledged a consistent criticism she always comes across. It was the fans who questioned why she always wanted to be in the main event. To this, she expressed herself and said, “I always find it so odd.”
Further, the 36-year-old added, “Isn’t that what you want as a performer? If you’re a football team, you want to be at the Super Bowl, right? I don’t understand the criticism over that. Why wouldn’t you want to be a champion?”

The response of The Dirtiest Player in the Game will surely enlighten many of her critics, as the star has a significant point in her defense. Being herself, Flair has always answered questions bluntly, without all honesty. And so she did the same when a major question was posed by the interviewer.
Charlotte Flair on the unification of the women’s titles
In the same interview, the host also asked her for her opinion on unifying the RAW and SmackDown women’s titles. To this, the world champion answered against it, as this was something she won’t recommend. She feels if unification happens, it would mean fewer opportunities for women.
