Hulk Hogan was one of the biggest draws in wrestling history. Nobody during his era has generated the amount of green stuff he made in his legendary career. However, his wrestling maneuvers during his career caused him to take several hits, which led to some very serious injuries.

In 2013, Hogan stated openly about the challenging times he had in his later years and claimed that a best-selling author and motivational speaker played a significant role—similar to that of god helping him to overcome his challenges.

Hogan made an appearance in James Arthur Ray’s interview a few years back. Where he told several anecdotes about his life during the nearly 45-minute conversation. Among them, he shared his obstacles and how he overcame them.

In order to be positive and consistent while coping with all of those difficulties, he claimed to have started reading a lot. He then found one of Arthur’s writings, which had a profoundly god-level effect on him.

The pieces of writing that significantly influenced Hulk Hogan

Hogan spoke to the author and revealed how he helped him.

He stated, “I don’t remember exactly, but you probably attracted things in your life that you’re proud of and you probably have tried to do things in your life that you aren’t proud of. And the question I’d like to ask you now is if you are not happy with your certain set of circumstances. When would now be the time to change that? When you said the word now, it was somebody sucker punch.”

Moreover, he added when he accepted god as his savior at the age of 14, he said it was truly like getting a wake-up call again.

In his word, “You really got me, it was really was like that same wake up call again when I was 14. When I accepted Christ as my savior but this was a different type of saving. And when you said one would now be the right time to change things. I mean, I don’t have to wait 10 more years you know and still be unhappy. I could change it now.”

Hogan said he accepted Christ as his savior during the interview, and everything for him pretty much changed after that. And when he read Arthur’s work, he experienced a similar impact. He is currently living the good life after retirement as a two-time WWE Hall of Fame and world champion.
