Something similar happened with Hulk Hogan recently. The Hulkster came to the rescue of a young woman who got into a car accident while driving on the highway. Here’s the scoop and how Hogan’s history with a car crash might have helped him in making a quick decision.

How Hulk Hogan saved the teen

According to the reports, the newlywed Hogan was out for a drive with his wife Sky Daily, and his Marine friend, Jake. The trio spotted a car making an erratic turn to avoid missing an exit. As a result, the car crashed and they responded to the scene. Hogan and Jake immediately stopped at the scene.  What happened next was that the 70-year-old retired star used his quick thinking to help save a life.

According to reports, the two tried to find a way to get the 17-year-old teen out of the car. However, she was stuck under the airbag that was activated due to the crash. Hogan’s friend then decided to puncture the airbag with a tool that he had with him. Following that, Hogan reached out to pull the crash victim out of the car

The trio then waited for the paramedics to arrive. After the medics arrived on the scene, the trio waited until they said that the young lady was doing fine.

While they could have steered away from the scene, Hogan decided to help as the star was once about to lose his own son in a car crash.

How Hogan saved his son’s life

Fans are aware that Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, got into a near-fatal car crash. While the passenger sitting next to Hogan Jr. was not able to survive, Nick Hogan was about to lose his legs after the crash. In an interview, Hogan recalled the horrific moments from the crash. According to him, the firefighters who responded to the scene decided to cut open the side of the car with a chainsaw. This scared the young Hogan as he felt that the saw might cut his leg. However, Hogan’s quick thinking saved his son’s legs.

While Nick Hogan was still stuck in the car, he said to his dad he could get out only if the seatbelt could be removed. Hogan then reached out to open the seat belt and make space for his son to get out. While Nick Hogan was able to survive the crash, his friend sitting next to him, unfortunately couldn’t. Following the 2007 incident, Nick Hogan was sentenced to jail for various traffic violations during that night. He came out in 2012 due to his good conduct in prison.
