Decades of pro wrestling have taken their toll on Hogan and the surgeries that have followed have not been kind to his body. The former WWE Champion has had 17 surgeries over the last 10 years. Yet he continues to train despite all these setbacks.

Hulk Hogan ignored medical advice

In late 2019, Hogan underwent his tenth back surgery, and the doctors advised him not to train for another four months. But the WWE Hall of Famer conveniently ignored the medical expertise.

Hogan explains, that his doctors advised him to take it easy for four months following his surgery. However, he just couldn’t resist the call of the grind and had to get his “pizump” on.

He was back at the gym lifting weights after only seven weeks!

In 2020, the legend also posted a photo of his back on Twitter after 10 back surgeries.

He captioned the photo writing, “All the little hulkamaniacs can climb aboard the largest back in the world and I’ll doggie paddle them to safety brother!!
