“We had a house show at Madison Square Garden [….] it was a six-man tag three on three and Hulk Hogan during the match I had to hit him in the back and knock him off the ring apron so we can get a quick false finish in so we can make the fans believe it was going to be the finish when I went over to hit him I hit him and he held on to the rope and stayed over the ring apron.”
“I’m like he’s staring at the finish like this he should be on the floor, selling so the next time I went over and I laid into him as hard as (laughs) I could and I knocked him off the apron the second time,” said Angle.

Kurt made an honest judgment
The decision of Kurt Angle to go according to the script was not to disrespect the Hollywood Hogan. He explained how he felt bad, after his act of going against Hogan. But in the defense of Kurt, he didn’t grow up watching the Hulk Hogan like other Superstar. Kurt was new to the show business, and he was just adhering to the script.
