Legendary WWE star and two-time Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan always manages to grab the headlines. While a few months ago, it was for his third marriage with Sky Daily, now it is because of his son, Nick Hogan. There have been reports that Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, had found himself on the wrong side of the law. The authorities arrested the WWE Hall of Famer’s son earlier this weekend in the city of Clearwater, Florida. While this might come as a shocker for many, this happens to be Junior Hogan’s second run with the Clearwater Police Department after almost a decade.

Nick Hogan booked for DUI

Nick Hogan landed himself in the jail cell due to Driving Under the Influence of substance (DUI) by the police department of Clearwater. News outlet TMZ reported the news first. They revealed that the arrest occurred in the early hours of Saturday, around 4 a.m. The arrest came in after Hogan’s son allegedly refused to participate in a sobriety test as told by the cops.

This led the authorities to suspect that the former television personality might be under the influence of substances while driving. The exact circumstances of the arrest are still unknown. However, according to sources, he is being charged with misconduct. According to reports, Nick Hogan visited his father’s restaurant in Hogan’s Hangout, which is in the same city.

This had opened an old wound in the hearts of pro wrestling fans, as the WWE icon’s son had a previous encounter with the police, which was much more traumatizing.

Why was Nick Hogan arrested in 2007?

Back in the early 2000s, Hulk Hogan and his family were a part of a reality show based on his life called Hogan Knows Best. During this time, his son made a name for himself as an energy cracker. In 2006, Junior Hogan got his license in Formula D at the age of 16. Following this, he began collecting parking tickets as the race car driver reportedly drove 123 mph in a 50-mile lane. However, even after receiving tons of tickets, he failed to grasp a lesson from it. But everything changed in 2007.

In August 2007, the 17-year-old decided to take his dad’s Toyota Supra for a spin along with his crew. His 22-year-old friend John Graziano also tagged along with him, who sat in the passenger seat. However, they both met an unfortunate accident when the Supra crashed into a palm tree after spinning uncontrollably on the road. Following this, they were taken to Bayfront Medical Center, where Nick Hogan came out with not many relatively unscathed. But Graziano, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered some severe injuries, which required care and attention for the rest of his life. All the case was later settled, according to reports, the then 17-year-old star was under the influence of alcohol which might have prompted the officers to take strict action in 2023 as well.
