Being a professional wrestler means you have to be in shape and for that, one needs to train constantly. It’s demanding yet rewarding if you’re able to do it right, and one of those people who got it right was Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest wrestling stars in the world, and he has worked very hard to achieve success. He trained hard until he got into the best shape of his life.

Hulkamania Workout set was a part toy and part home exercise kit advertised to children. The collection had a Hogan narrated 40-minute workout cassette, a Hulkamania headband, red and white wristbands, a jump rope, exercise chart, hand gripper, and a pair of 3-pound dumbbells.

Everything one would need for their home workouts was present in the set and it costs around $300 now.

However, someone leaked the workout video cassette on YouTube. It consisted of Hulk Hogan pushing everyone to ‘move those legs’ for 40 minutes.

The 80’s music, the classic wrestling bell, and Hulk threatening to body slam whoever stopped would have been the perfect motivation for a good workout. Despite that, the best part about the cassette was Hulk’s long rant at the beginning.

He spreads his wisdom with his gruff voice. This clip gets even more interesting when he imagines his life as a school teacher. Hogan also motivates the listener by enticing them with an opportunity to become his tag team partner to take down his enemies.

Where can you get the Hulkamania workout set?

WWE officially doesn’t sell these sets anymore for obvious reasons. However, many fanatics knew that this vintage set would be valuable one day. That is why many of these Hulkamania sets are sold on eBay.

Good on them for realizing the worth of this set early on as it’s being auctioned for as high as 400 dollars now.

What is the actual workout routine of Hulk Hogan?

While the Hulkamania Workout set is an excellent starter for kids to workout, it isn’t enough to get into the best shape. Hulk Hogan might have listened to his cassettes, but he did extra exercises.

Hulk Hogan got his physique by working out with weights. He does a lot of compound exercises targeted to work multiple muscles at once. These include squats, bench press, leg press, deadlift, and pull-ups.

He is so dedicated to his routine that Hulk even has an entire workout facility in his own home. The former WWF champion works out very intensely.
