In 2018, Hogan tweeted the following, referring to the Women’s Rumble that took place. This was the first ever Women’s Rumble where Asuka emerged victorious, eliminating Nikki Bella.

This is not the first time Hogan involving in a controversy
Hogan has been a part of much worse controversies before this one. In leaked clips, the Hall of Famer was heard using the N-word. He did this after he suspected his daughter Brooke of being intimate with an African-American man. There is no excuse for such behavior, and Hogan asked for forgiveness for his mistakes.
“I was to the point where I wanted to kill myself, you know?” Hogan revealed on Good Morning America. He said he was in a very bad place mentally and socially and talked about the rough environment he grew up around in Tampa.

Moreover, there was no formal apology by Hogan after the Women’s Royal Rumble comments apart from deleting the tweet. Fans, of course, did not support his controversial remarks, leading to the deletion of the tweet.
