Hulk Hogan is one of the most recognizable figures in wrestling history. While we all know that the average wrestler doesn’t earn much, Hogan’s place on the wrestling hill is pretty much at the top. Even without wrestling for a long time, Hogan’s t-shirt and other merchandise still score big numbers. But with this many income options, it is a shock that Hogan had to sell his Florida mansion in the late 2010s.

But more interesting than the reason for his sale is the process of the sale itself. For the first time, we saw a wrestler struggle against not a chokehold from another wrestler but the real estate market.
The struggle that Hulk Hogan went through while selling his Florida mansion
The story starts with Hogan shooting his reality documentary television series, ‘Hogan Knows Best’ in this Florida mansion. A mansion that had five bedrooms, eight full baths, and three half baths, a gym, a rec room, a tanning room, a wet bar, a hot tub, a guest house, a swimming pool with waterfalls, and two docks on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Though after the series, the Hulkster put the mansion on sale. First, the sale price was $25 million. But after waiting for someone to approach him, he dropped the price to below $10 million. But even this didn’t help with the sale of the Florida mansion. So, Hogan finally quit being on the market and sold the 17,000 sq ft. mansion for $6.2 million to the CEO of America II Electronics, Michael Galinski.

Hogan was the biggest star in the ’80s and ’90s and made a lot of money from WWE/WCW. But one thing his fans still want from Hulkamania is one last match. Fans believe, just like his good friend, Ric Flair, Hogan should also promote his last match and promote it through the roof. A legend like Hogan, who has great relations with WWE as well, could concoct a huge event.
