Hulk Hogan is arguably one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. Throughout his career, he dominated the pro wrestling industry with his skills and charisma. He was one of the top draws of the company, and the company utilized him in every way possible.

A part of WWE’s Golden Era, Hogan made a name for himself during that time span. Apart from being one of the top stars in WWE, Hogan was also famous and well-known Internationally as well. His later move to WCW also turned out to be beneficial where Hogan also earned a name and a massive salary for himself.

Being a top star in the company meant, Hogan received a lot of demand and attention. Fans would line up stadiums and halls to witness The Hulkster in action. The 69-year-old throughout his career at different companies enjoyed massive popularity.

Such a huge popularity and fanbase also meant a hefty amount of salary. However, in his documentary, Hogan’s friend Bubba revealed something unknown about the WWE Legend. He stated that Hogan never went after money after being a family man, and always chose his family over anything else.

Bubba said, I saw several times when Vince McMahon would call Terry up and with literally an opportunity for Hogan to make a lot of money for a one night appearance.” Hulk Hogan’s real-life name is, Terry Bollea. However, Hogan would reject all claims of McMahon.

He further claimed, And he would tell Vince, ‘No! I can’t because Nick has a soccer game.” Hogan would cancel out all of his high-paying appearances being with his son during his soccer game. Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan is a loving father, and is evident from the relationship he shares with his children.

The Hulkster was always fond of music, and had a band of his own during college. His band was well-known in that area, and often had several gigs to attend to. However, there came one moment when he left everything to join and pursue the career that would change his life forever.

In the same aforementioned documentary, Hogan’s mother would reveal that Hogan would sell of his musical equipments and join wrestling.

Although, skeptical at first, his mother later saw the growth and success her son received in wrestling. Hulk Hogan would later join Hiro Matsuda for his wrestling training.
