Things went from bad to worse when Hogan’s divorce cost him an arm and a leg. Ultimately, the 2015 scandal proved to be the last nail in his coffin. However, the 12-time World Champion hulked up and put his life back on track. Hogan stated that he was not quite himself and that his friends would vouch for him.

“It was kind of a speed bump. It’s a glitch in the system as far as who I am. There’s no excuses for it. You can go through a divorce, your son can be in jail, you can have all kind of problems happen, but there’s no excuses. And at the end of the day, that’s not who I am. And everybody knows that all my friends and everybody I work with know that.” Stated Hulk Hogan.

He further added that he learned a lesson about respect from his past. The 69-year-old also admitted that no matter how big his problems were before the 2015 incident, it was inexcusable to vent. It is conspicuous that Hulk Hogan has spent years doing some soul-searching since being canceled by WWE.

What is next for Hulk Hogan?

While speaking with Alfred Konuwa from Forbes, Hulk Hogan discussed his new business venture. Hogan was recently announced as the Chief Brand Officer for Carma HoldCo. Although it may seem unconventional, the medical benefits of cannabis cannot be called into question. Hogan stated that it took him 28 surgeries in the last 10 years to adopt a different approach to treating pain.

“Basically the last 10 years, I’ve had about 28 surgeries. Between the pain, the inflammation and the doctors always giving me the pain pills after the surgeries, I was miserable.” Said Hogan.
