

Hulk Hogan is a name that likely echoes through every wrestling fan’s ears whenever they hear about wrestling. Hogan enjoyed immense popularity during his days in WWE and WCW. However, even after he retired from the sport, he maintained his legacy.
A legend in the true sense, the WWE Hall of Famer has achieved a lot of success during his tenure. However, he was not always on the best of terms with all of his colleagues. Hogan had heat with various other wrestlers in the company which often led to real-life clashes. Some of his best-known real-life rivalries were with, Randy Savage and Bret Hart.

Former Four horseman member Paul Roma was on the same page as Bret Hart and others. He opined that Hulk Hogan could not wrestle. However, Roma credited Hogan for his showmanship. Speaking on the ‘Cheap Heat Productions Podcast’, Roma stated, “He can’t wrestle. All joking aside, he can’t wrestle. He was a great showman, they put a lot of money behind him and they made it work, right?”
He then continued, “The only problem was Hogan started believing his own bu**s**t. You know what I mean? ‘Hey! I’m really beating Andre the Giant’. No, you’re not. No, you’re not. ‘Hey guy, hit me with your finish, I’m gonna kick out of it,’ of course you are. You kick out of everybody’s finish, that’s what you do, but at the end of the day, you’re just a punk a**.”
Roma also described Hogan as “cordial” and stated that in the initial days they got along with each other, and how they visited the gym together riding in his limo. He then stated how he thought Hogan was a standup guy but something occurred in the following years which changed his opinion.

The WWE Hall of Famer had been interested in music from a young age. He spent a decade playing fretless bass guitar in Florida. He attended the University of South Florida, and it was here that he dropped out of university after receiving various gigs with his band.

The Hulkster then formed the band, Ruckus with other two local musicians in 1976. The band became popular in the Tampa Bay region.

However, Hogan had to bid adieu to music after he started lifting went and later went on to train for wrestling and making a name for himself in that industry.
