The Immortal Hulk Hogan was cheered by fans all around the wrestling world for his gimmick, but his fellow wrestling superstars did not share the same sentiment. Notorious for his backstage politics and self-promotions, many superstars hated Hogan, but none more than Randy Savage. The two have been against each other for decades, something evident from their recent endeavors.
Even in their later years, the two legends have continued their rivalries in public space as well. One former wrestler and WWE manager responded to the rivalry and snubbed Hogan for his act.

The beef between Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan is one for the ages. Though the two had teamed up to form The Mega Powers from 1987-89 (managed by Miss Elizabeth), they never liked each other. Their apprehension of each other led to the production of diss tracks for each other.
Former WWE Manager Dutch Mantell gave his opinion on the diss tracks. While speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, Mantell said, “So, but if I had to have a song, both of them suck by the way, but if I had to have a song that I just had to listen to, they said you gotta pick one of the other I would pick Randy Savage’s song”.
He further said, “Both of those songs, I think Hulk sucks worse and I don’t know why I’m saying that but it does. I can kind of put up with it.”
Mantell did not like any of the songs from both legends, but he’d pick Savage’s song, as Hogan’s song is more disappointing. Hulk Hogan dissed Randy Savage with his Hulk Rules track but it lacked lyrical finesse. Later, Macho Man released an album titled Be a Man in 2003 where he dissed Hulk Hogan.
Randy Savage uses an interview to further embarrass Hulk Hogan
Savage later embarrassed Hogan through an interview in 2003 with 3 Guys Pickin, where he expressed his opinion on the Hulkster. Just like his song, he went no-holds-barred in his interview and explained why he considers Hogan to be a coward.

Savage mentioned how he challenged Hogan to a real wrestling match for a charity in 2001, but Hogan gave 1001 reasons to avoid it. Later, DJ George suggested Savage to diss Hogan, an idea Macho Man liked due to his love for music.
