One of the partnerships that changed the wrestling industry upside down was between Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon. These two wrestling legends led the way for wrestling to develop from a territorial base to a national phenomenon. But that’s not where it stopped. With Hogan as his mascot for WWE, McMahon started to build a roster from the ground up, and everything followed from there.
We have only heard great things about the two working together. Hogan has always admired McMahon and despite them having a professional rivalry at one point they have always found a way to work together. Recently, Hogan opened up about certain details when he was working under Vince McMahon.

Hulk Hogan opens up about working with Vince McMahon
On the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the Hulkster talked a lot about his new wellness product. But after some time, Helwani asked Hogan about the recent purchase of WWE. While Hogan agreed that it makes absolute business sense, there was another thing that he couldn’t believe, how Vince McMahon wasn’t going to be working 24/7 now.

That is when Hogan revealed how McMahon used to make him crazy back in the day. He said, “I would go to Monday Night Raw and we would have a post-production meeting at 1. Then, I’d sneak to my hotel, and he would be beating at my door at 2.30. ‘Come on monster, let’s workout.’ He would drive me crazy. Then he’d sleep for 4 hours and then have a 20-hour day and it was like that every day.”
Vince McMahon being a workaholic is no secret and his intense passion for working out has many admirers as WWE’s chairman keeps himself in great shape even at 77 years.

But this isn’t the only time that Hogan remarked about working with McMahon. During the 2000s, when Hogan was working with TNA, Hogan called working in WWE labor and nothing more. He even said he didn’t like working in the company. But since then, Hogan has repaired his relationship with McMahon, given how long both of them have worked together.
How long did Vince McMahon work with The Hulkster?
Starting in the ’80s, Hogan was ‘the’ guy that McMahon was looking for, after he took over the company from his father. Working in WWE made Hogan an American sensation in just a year. Not only wrestling fans, but people from all over America wanted to see more and more of Hogan. That’s the reason why McMahon featured Hogan in the first 8 out of 9 WrestleMania events.
