Roman Reigns' new theme song—Is it the best entrance music in WWE history?

At SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns surprised the WWE universe with his shocking return. During the match for the WWE Undisputed Championship between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, Reigns appeared at a crucial moment. After several members of the Samoan family, including Jacob Fatu, intervened in the match, Reigns entered to hit a Superman punch on Solo Sikoa, leaving everyone stunned. Now, with his return to SmackDown, a new chapter in the rivalry has opened up.

The future showdown between Reigns and this revamped faction promises to intensify the dynamic in WWE programming. This feud could redefine the balance of power in the company. However, a change of opponent isn’t the only major change that the Original Tribal Chief has brought.

Roman Reigns has made a significant change in his presentation in the ring as well. According to journalist Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, a completely new theme song has been produced for Reigns. One which is now ready to be used. A close source has described the song as “extensive and long, to say the least.” At SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns presented a revamped version of his song “Head of the Table,” which played out first at WrestleMania XL.

And it’s not just the music that’s important here; even the cover of the new theme song has managed to catch the attention of fans. The new cover for the theme features nine stars aligned vertically on the right side. These nine stars represent the nine WrestleManias that the Original Tribal Chief has been a part of as a main event star.

This is not the first time that WWE has prepared new music for its superstars, only for them to decide not to use it. It has happened with Randy Orton in the past. It remains to be seen if Roman Reigns will accept this change. Or, like Orton, he will continue with the adapted version of his current iconic theme. But for now, he has more important things to deal with. Especially after the recent humiliation he faced after going head-to-head against the Bloodline.

Have an interesting take?

The Bloodline is inching closer and closer to a very interesting civil war after the return of Roman Reigns. The original Tribal Chief is eager to restore ranks within the group. Reigns definitively wants to extinguish the rebellion of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and the Tongans. On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, it seemed that the Tribal Chief had succeeded in the feat.

So much so that he took back his Ula Fala after launching yet another attack on the Bloodline 2.0. Unfortunately, he couldn’t hold on to it long enough after Jacob Fatu’s surprise attack forced him to concede the Ula Fala . If that wasn’t enough, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga hit the OTC with a triple powerbomb on the commentators’ table shortly after. Well, it sure looks like the biggest thing Reigns has to worry about is recruiting members for his team to go against Bloodline 2.0. What do you think? Will he be able to defeat Sikoa’s Bloodline anytime soon? Let us know in the comments.
