Fastlane will be the first PPV to feature on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service. This is a fantastic moment for the company and its fans, as Peacock is a more mainstream OTT platform, and may be on par with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video soon.
The news broke out on January 25th through a press release by WWE. The company then confirmed the news at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Fastlane is a crucial stop on the road to WrestleMania, and will have severe implications on how the biggest show of the year turns out.
According to the press release, all exclusive WWE Network content will be streamed on Peacock. This includes the Broken Skull Sessions, Undertaker: The Last Ride, and WWE Icons. WrestleMania and SummerSlam 2021 will be on the OTT platform as well. From 2022 onwards, there will be one annual documentary produced and streamed on the service.
Confusion and controversy surrounded this Peacock deal, as fans thought the WWE Network would cease to exist. However, the PPV will also be streamed on the WWE Network, while simultaneously streamed on Peacock. The WWE Network and Peacock will exist together and will function the same purpose.
What matches will take place after the Elimination Chamber?
Fastlane presents the best opportunity to right the wrongs on the road to WrestleMania. At Elimination Chamber, Daniel Bryan, Bobby Lashley, Cesaro and many more suffered disappointing loses. These superstars deserved a lot more than what they received, and things might change for them at Fastlane.
Daniel Bryan and Cesaro deserve a shot at the Universal Championship after their performances inside the Chamber. Bryan almost beat the Tribal Chief following his incredible win inside the Chamber, but Reigns was too strong for him. Bryan vs Reigns or Cesaro vs Reigns needs to happen at WWE Fastlane.

Bobby Lashley lost his United States Championship at the Elimination Chamber but did not even get pinned. Riddle is a deserving champion, but Lashley’s reign deserved a better ending. Fastlane presents the opportunity to right that wrong.
