Is Charlotte Flair's return exactly what WWE needs to spice up SummerSlam this year?

Charlotte Flair has been on the verge of a grand WWE return after months of being sidelined because of a nasty leg injury. The Queen’s absence in the female division marked a huge void that has even been doubled by Rhea Ripley‘s dismissal from the active storyline following a title drop. Now, while Mami has already resumed her work from where she left in a shell-shocking Raw segment, The Nature Girl has also kitted herself out for an early arrival. After dropping a relaxing update on her improving legs, the 38-year-old gave away another major hint of her imminent return around SummerSlam in her latest Instagram post’s comment.

As we are inching toward the biggest party of the Summer pretty quickly, there have been ample places for The Queen to return. To mention a few, Flair can jump into an intriguing storyline with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton, who are currently eying the WWE Women’s Championship belt.

The Queen’s past record with Jax and the similar in-ring styles with both Jax and Stratton would seem perfect to set up a high-stakes match in the PLE. To be a bit more speculative, WWE might also sow a seed of the Flair-Bayley rivalry for another title in her name, moving her closer to reaching Ric Flair’s legacy.

However, fanning the flame of all of this anticipation, Flair publically revealed that she has been training in PC lately. The Queen posted a drop-dead gorgeous photo in her feed, attracting a lot of comments from fellow WWE females. Under one of their comments, Flair wrote, “Kayden! Happy I got to see you at PC’,” clearly indicating what she’s up to.

However, it seems Ric Flair still has some doubts about his daughter’s arrival timeline.

Have an interesting take?

A few days back, Charlotte Flair shared a video of herself where she was seen having a jacked-up session at the gym. Despite undergoing severe pain in the process, the good news was she took up the 40 percent or less deficit for strength compared to her non-surgical leg and had to take up 20 percent or less quad strength, which tells the fans that she’s healing faster and might be inside the ring earlier than we can think of.

However, pulling the rug to that hope to some extent, Ric Flair noted during an episode of ‘Busted Open’, “The Queen will be back, who knows when, but she’s progressing and I don’t have a time frame. I don’t talk to her about much about that, but she’ll be back and I mean, it’s just a different time.”

It will be interesting to see when finally the Nature girl will lace up her boots again, proceeding to a continued legacy. How do you view Charlotte Flair training at PC amidst the SummerSlam return rumor? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
