The NXT Women’s Division is the best women’s division in the entire world. The roster has so much depth that NXT has its own Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside the NXT Women’s Championship. And this week on NXT, the NXT Women’s Tag Team division got too much to contain!
Io Shirai and Zoey Stark took on Aliyah and Jesse Kamea of the Robert Stone Brand in a tag team match this week on NXT. During the match, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell came out at ringside. Although it felt the two would cause an interference, surprisingly they didn’t.

Intense brawl between women’s tag teams on WWE NXT
Shirai and Stark picked up the win over Aliyah and Jesse Kamea and then set their sights on the champs at ringside. Just as the two were about to get in each other’s faces, Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai interrupted them. Kai and Gonzalez claimed they are the best tag team on NXT, adding they are in front of the line for a title opportunity.
Listening to Dakota Kai and Raquel’s claims, Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart couldn’t control themselves. The former champions came out to the ring and talked why they’re the most deserving to get a title shot. In fact, Ember even reminded Dakota and Raquel that she and Shotzi have defeated them once before.

The time for talking ended when all four teams got face to face in the ring. Complete havoc broke through as all four teams got into an intense brawl. Things were too difficult to contain. Hence, Samoa Joe himself had to come out to contain the action!
Joe came out and ordered the security personnel to hold the women back. Finally, once things settled, NXT made a huge announcement! The black and gold brand announced a #1 contender’s Triple Threat match between the teams of Io Shira-Zoey Stark, Dakota Kai-Raquel Gonzalez, and Ember Moon-Shotzi Blackheart for next week.

Given the chaos these women brought to the ring this week, we can only imagine what they’d do when they’re officially facing each other. Either way, we’re sure next week this triple threat will be an impressive one with the winner facing Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell for the titles at NXT: Great American Bash Special on July 6th.
