WWE’s most noticeable absentee is none other than Charlotte Flair. The Queen has been absent since losing the NXT Championship to Io Shirai at NXT Takeover: In Your House. She took a break from the WWE for cosmetic surgery, but her return date is mostly unknown.

Charlotte was drafted to Monday Night Raw as a part of the Draft 2020. The record nine-time Women’s Champion is a valuable presence for Monday Night Raw after the exit of Sasha Banks and Bayley left the Raw women’s division severely depleted.
The former Golden Role Models kept the Raw Women’s division alive in the absence of Charlotte and Becky Lynch. The duo put on some cracking matches against Asuka, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai and even Shayna Baszler. The Queen wasn’t exactly missed while Sasha and Bayley ruled the division.
Now that Bayley and Sasha are feuding on SmackDown, Asuka does not have a legitimate threat to her throne. The Empress of Tomorrow made short work of Lana and Zelina Vega, and the Women’s Tag champs do not seem to be interested in Asuka.
Charlotte Flair can revive the Raw women’s division
The return of Charlotte Flair will inject some much needed adrenaline in a dying division. If Asuka runs out of challengers before Charlotte returns, the Raw women’s division would be beyond saving.
Charlotte and Asuka have a deep history, ranging back to WrestleMania 34. At the event, Charlotte broke Asuka’s 400+ days undefeated streak, becoming the first woman to beat Asuka in WWE. She made her submit to the Figure Eight, which added even more insult to injury.
Flair snatched the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Asuka in the run up to WrestleMania 35. This was another brutal loss suffered by the Empress of Tomorrow at the hands of the Queen. This long standing rivalry could be materialized in the form of a WrestleMania 37 match between the two.
Dream match scenarios for Flair

Flair could make her return at the Royal Rumble, the match that she won last year by eliminating Shayna Baszler at the end. A potential one-on-one match between Baszler and Flair would set the ring on fire. The styles clash between the two could lead to the perfect match to mark Charlotte’s return.
Flair could even go back to NXT to have one final swing at the NXT Championship. Flair was not the one pinned, and she could come back to haunt Io Shirai. Shirai has been more than dominant as champion after pinning Rhea Ripley for the best at Takeover: In Your House.
