Damian Priest is one of the rising stars in WWE right now. The former NXT North American Champion bagged the chance to debut on the main roster following his impressive in-ring performances on NXT.

How tall is Damian Priest?
Damian Priest certainly gets a height advantage over his opponents. Priest is quite a tall guy with a height of 6 ft 5 in. Though he is not taller than The Undertaker (6 ft 10 in), he is definitely one of the tallest members on the current WWE roster.
But that does not make a vast difference. Priest’s great in-ring abilities are praised by many and are one of the main reasons why he is having such a successful WWE career following his main roster debut earlier this year.

Damian Priest Career
Damian Priest’s father was a martial artist. And it was his father who taught him Gōjū-ryū. Before stepping into the world of professional wrestling, Priest won two national championships in full-contact martial arts. Priest first appeared on ROH under his real name, Luis Martinez. Later on, Priest adopted the name ‘Damian Martinez’.
In October 2018, it was reported that Priest had signed a contract with WWE. And on November 28 at an NXT TV taping in Florida, Priest made his debut under the name ‘Punishment Martinez’. But it did not work out well for the WWE superstar as he got defeated by Riddle on that night.
Soon after that, he got repackaged with his current ring name, “Damian Priest”. Following this repackaging, Priest made an impact on the NXT roster. He also represented Team NXT in the 2019 Survivor Series PPV. At NXT TakeOver: XXX in 2020, Priest won his first championship by winning the NXT North American Championship by winning a ladder match.
Priest then appeared on the main roster after participating in the 2021 Royal Rumble match. He eliminated John Morrison, The Miz, Elias and Kane. But later on, he got eliminated by Bobby Lashley. But Priest left his mark on the WWE Universe with his performance on that night. He made his Raw debut on the following night during a Miz TV segment after he got introduced by Bad Bunny. Priest teamed up with Bad Bunny to defeat The Miz and John Morrison in a tag team match at WrestleMania 37.
Priest took the next big step in his WWE career when he defeated Sheamus at WWE SummerSlam 2021 for the United States Championship. Since then, Priest had successful title defenses against Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews.

As of 2021, Damian Priest’s net worth is estimated to be around $2 million. The United States Champions gets himself a basic salary of $300,000 annually from WWE.

He also gets paid for appearing in PPVs and receives royalties from the merchandise sales. After becoming the United States Champion, Priest is likely to appear more frequently on the upcoming WWE PPVs. Also, it has been less than a year since Priest has made his main roster debut. So, it might not be wrong if we say that this value is most likely to go up in the future.
