Jacob Fatu's injury—Will WWE ever be the same without his electrifying performances?

Jacob Fatu is allegedly down with a legitimate leg injury. The Samoan werewolf has proven his prowess in protecting his stablemates in the face of menacing opponents ever since his electrifying debut. However, while he repeated his antics on an epic SummerSlam night, he ended up taking a grave tear in his feet. A desperate Jacob Fatu successfully delivered a devastating splash and put Rhodes through the announcer’s table. But unfortunately, he found his legs stuck on the table. The sight of him donning his leg in a boot confirmed the injury to the WWE faithful.

Although there hasn’t been much information on the nature and the intensity of the hurt, Fatu will be surely out of action for a while. Let’s see the potential time off for the former MLW star amidst the major Bloodline functioning.

In a promo on the August 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes officially addressed Jacob Fatu’s injury in an attempt to corner Sikoa. Also, in the post-event press meet of SummerSlam, Triple H announced that the terrifying Bloodline member was banged up.

But he showcased hope about his recovery while praising Fatu’s phenomenal resilience. However, his continued absence led a chunk of people to believe that the star would be out of action for an indefinite period.  However, it could also be the WWE’s attempts to keep him out of The Bloodline’s affairs for the time being to let Reigns and Sikoa have their time to settle the dust.

Nevertheless, if Jimmy Uso will be back in a while to form the much-anticipated alliance with his tribal chief, WWE might relaunch Fatu in the scene to even the odds. And the high-stake civil war might follow. The upcoming German PLE, Bash in Berlin seems to be an excellent platform for the saga to move to its next chapter.

However, a portion of the WWE Universe believes that Fatu’s injury isn’t even real.

Did Jacob Fatu fake his injury?

Faking injury in the pro wrestling world is a very common sight to come across. While the Samoan Werewolf’s tragic fate at SummerSlam shattered us, a podcast host, Brad Gilmore spotted a unique discord in the angle. He noted, ”It looks like he sells the knee, right? When he hits the table. So if it’s the knee, why do you have a boot on your foot? You know what I’m saying? Well, I know the foot bones are connected to the knee bone, but I don’t know if one causes you to have a boot. I’m saying it could be legit. I’m serious. I have no idea.”
