“How Is This Her Fault?” – Torrie Wilson Garners Massive Hate Online for Surprisingly Accusing Sandra Bullock Over $310 Million Movie Controversy

Amongst the writer strike plaguing Hollywood, another controversy has come to light. The 2009 movie came under the limelight over a decade later, thanks to the real-life person it was based on. Now former WWE star Torrie Wilson called out the main actress of that movie Sandra Bullock.

Despite her noble effort to bring awareness to the story, fans were unhappy with the former WWE star. The comments on Wilson’s post prove that fans will shut down anyone when they’re in the wrong. 

Torrie Wilson calls out Sandra Bullock for The Blind Side movie

One of the biggest controversies in Hollywood has been The Blind Side Story. Michael Oher, the real-life inspiration for the movie, claimed that the movie was based on lies. The 2009 movie claimed to be “based on a true story” and starred Quinton Aaron and Sandra Bullock. Despite the movie being a big box-office success, making around $310 million, new developments prove it to have been based on lies.

Taking to her social media, Wilson called out the lead actress of the movie Sandra Bullock. She posted on Twitter, “Can’t believe Sandra Bullock would do this,” with a screenshot of the Vanity Fair article headline.

However, fans did not approve of this move. They immediately began to call her out. Fans pointed out that the movie had nothing to do with Sandra Bullock. According to the fans, she was doing her job as an actress. She did not know what was going on behind the scenes. They also claimed that no one paid attention to Oher, who wanted the truth out. According to him, the adoptive family never really legally adopted him. 

Moreover, some fans were disappointed in Wilson for calling out Bullock. They pointed out that she did her job as an actress, and it was not her part to figure out the truth. Many even claimed since the news came to light recently, there is no way Bullock knew about it while filming.

There is no official word from Bullock at the moment regarding the controversy. This is not the first time Wilson said something controversial. However, this is also not the first time this situation has occurred in pro wrestling. 

Fans shut down Torrie Wilson for her tweet

This is not the first time fans shut down a tone-deaf post by a wrestling star on social media. Back in 2021, Buddy Murphy faced the same when he posted about being a free agent. Murphy, who works in AEW as Buddy Mathews and dates RAW’s Rhea Ripley, posted a controversial tweet about being a free agent.

He used an image of a man’s hands breaking chains to symbolize him breaking the chains. However, fans shut him down immediately, resulting in him deleting the photo. Similarly, the same could be seen in the comment section of Wilson’s post. 

The major question was how Bullock could know.

Some pointed out that even closest friends and family didn’t know the truth, so how could Bullock?

Many said it was until Oher came out and said it was a lie; no one knew anything.

Some pointed out that it had nothing to do with Bullock. 

This is not the first or last time wrestling fans shut down wrestlers on social media. Despite being supportive of their favorite wrestlers, when they say something voice something that divides opinion fans are quick to shut them down.
