WWE in the recent past has brought in some of the best storylines for their Superstars. While some have gone through major transformations, some have been heavily sidelined. Seth Rollins, however, falls under the former.

The SHIELD era

Seth Rollins came into WWE main roster as part of the SHIELD alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The trio wreaked havoc for months till Rollins turned against his brothers.

Soon, he was rocketed into the top and was given a WWE Championship run. Since then, he has held the Championship twice.

He is also a 2-time Universal Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, one-time United States Champion, record six-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion.

Seth Rollins as The Monday Night Messiah

Rollins has had one of the most successful careers in the company. Lately, he has adapted the gimmick of the Monday Night Messiah. The Monday Night Messiah was a savior for the lost ones.

The gimmick saw Rollins turn heel after a very long time. He teamed with AOP to attack the likes of Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens.

Soon Buddy Murphy joined Rollins. The duo won the RAW Tag-Team Championship and had a short run.

After a WrestleMania loss to Kevin Owens, Rollins started feuding with the new WWE Champion Drew McIntyre

He lost the match with McIntyre at Money in the Bank PPV. The next night on RAW, he went on to attack Rey Mysterio brutally amidst a tag-team matchup against Mysterio and Aleister Black

The feud would spark as Mysterio’s son Dominic got involved. Black and Humberto Carillo aided Mysterio and his son on several occasions.

Last week on RAW, Mysterio stated that he’d get back at Rollins saying “An eye for an eye”.

The gimmick has changed Rollins into the biggest heel in the company. That was something WWE lacked. The feud with Mysterio and his son is one of the best-written storylines the fan saw this year.

It also seems as if WWE is trying to bring Dominic as a star. His constant involvement in the feud could maybe hinting an important makeover. Dominic debuting as the new-age Mysterio could be just what the company needs.

Seth Rollins and his disciples could also turn into a big stable. If that is the case, WWE could really have something great underworks.
