“The Boss” Sasha Banks has been out of in-ring action for over four weeks. However, WWE has announced that Sasha Banks is back on SmackDown and is ready for The Premium Live Event – Royal Rumble.
In the live event held on January 2, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair went head to head inside the ring with Sasha Banks. The former Women’s Champion suffered an injury during this match in North Carolina.
As per PWInsider.com, Banks’ leg planted awkwardly while taking a backbreaker from ‘The Queen’. She was helped out of the ring by WWE officials after Charlotte Flair retained her SmackDown Women’s title.

WWE’s medics checked her thoroughly and saw that there was no fracture. Though, to be sure, Sasha went through an MRI scan and realized that she had a bruised calcaneus bone. She was undergoing physical therapy and recovering at home and may have progressed quickly enough to make a return.
However, Fightful Select reported that Sasha Banks is ahead of the 6-8 weeks timetable that was announced when she was injured. They were told by WWE creative that since Banks was injured; it was not clear if she was going to be a part of the Royal Rumble.

Sasha Banks, who returned during SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair segment, confronted “The Queen” and a few other WWE superstars (Shotzi Blackheart, Natalya, Aliyah, and Shayna Baszler).

Sasha Banks announced her entry to the Royal Rumble, establishing that she is ready to fight for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
