Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble for the first time in his career in 2023 and proceeded to challenge Roman Reigns for the title. Last year he came short after multiple interferences from The Usos and Solo Sikoa. However, this did not deter him from challenging Roman Reigns for the title again in 2024. But Reigns still has the support of his Bloodline members despite the absence of Jey Uso. So, how can Cody Rhodes break the shackles and achieve the impossible, i.e. defeat Roman Reigns?
Cody Rhodes finds new allies in his quest for the gold
After weeks of drama ensuing around Cody Rhodes’ opponent at WrestleMania, the decision is now settled. It will be Roman Reigns. But The Tribal Chief has more allies to his corner as The Rock has joined him, courtesy of their blood. So, Rhodes has a bigger challenge heading into the WrestleMania main event.

But The American Nightmare does not have to worry much as he too has strong allies by his side. Seth Rollins joined the journey at the WrestleMania Kick Press conference when he backed up Rhodes against The Rock and Roman Reigns.
Other than The Visionary, Rhodes can draw support from Sami Zayn who stood up against Roman Reigns last WrestleMania too. He saved Sami Zayn from the dual attack from Shinsuke Nakamura & Drew McIntyre on RAW. So, Zayn would be eager to repay the courtesy.
Rhodes can also draw some help from former Bloodline member, main event Jey Uso. If there is anyone who understands The Tribal Chief better than anyone, it’s him. He is the only one ever to pin Reigns. So, his aid would be pivotal to Cody Rhodes’ success.

Regardless, it wouldn’t be easy for Rhodes despite having multiple talents at his bay as Reigns too has his army guarding him during crucial moments.
Roman Reigns can always rely on The Enforcer of his team, Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa has bailed Reigns out on many occasions including last year’s WrestleMania. Aiding Sikoa in the quest is Jimmy Uso who is always trying to prove himself to The Tribal Chief. This year, the trio will be joined by the electrifying renewed heel, The Rock. Despite being 52 years old, The People’s Champ is still a force to be reckoned with. Hence, Rhodes just can’t afford to take Reigns lightly despite the allies he has at his end.
