The Tribal Chief acknowledging his cousin’s retrieved stature may not be an overnight change. However, returning to the old ways of things in the heel faction might just be what Jimmy Uso needs in the promotion right now.

Can Jimmy Uso redeem his old esteem back?

Starting from the Night of Champions, Jimmy Uso has been on a streak of embarrassing himself along with his team. During the NoC, for the first time in the current storyline, he betrayed The Tribal Chief. This went on further into a match that he won alongside his twin brother, only to succumb to the leader of The Bloodline again and turn on his brother. Since then he has been trying to get into the good books of Reigns and regain his esteem in the stable.

He has tried to take over the command of The Bloodline in the absence of Reigns but is left hanging with no interest shown by Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Then at Fastlane, he was pinned by LA Knight in a tag team match adding another blot to The Bloodline name.

If you think that his old self is beyond redemption, you might be wrong. This is because WWE may have the perfect opportunity planned for the older Uso.

Reigns is set to defend his Universal Championship against LA Knight at Crown Jewel ’23. This might be the moment for Jimmy Uso to help his leader defend his title. Just like how the tradition is in The Bloodline, to defuse the rules and help their team members, a successful assist can end up helping the 38-year-old get back to his old status in the heel faction.

Apart from this, there could be three more ways Jimmy Uso can win back Reigns’ faith in him, despite betraying him months ago.

More ways Jimmy Uso can revive his old self back

First and foremost, let’s talk about a feud that is already in front of us. The most crucial thing that Jimmy can do to earn the respect of the head of the stable is to defeat his brother Jey Uso. Since the two have had a big falling out and Jey disrespected Reigns’ supremacy by challenging him, restoring the leader’s honor might help him earn back his respect.
