48 Hours After Decimating Ronda Rousey, Fans Couldn’t “Unhear” RAW Star Sounding Like “Naruto”

The voice of a wrestler is an integral part of their persona or gimmick. While many have some prominent voices, sometimes the fans can end up hearing something else. A particular incident like this took place on the latest episode of RAW when fans thought they heard the voice of the anime character Naruto coming from one superstar.

Having fans compare the voice of a wrestler to that of an iconic character is great. But not when the wrestler and the character are completely different in gender. 

Fans claim Shayna Baszler sounds like Naruto

On Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch came out to the ring to address the fans post her Trish Stratus saga. During her speech, Zoey Stark interrupted her. After a bit of back and forth, Stark called herself the baddest in the locker room. This prompted Shayna Baszler to show up to the ring.

Baszler was coming off her brutal match with Ronda Rousey and spotted a black eye. Lynch noticed this and commented that she looked rough. This led to Baszler talking about beating Rousey out of the WWE. Baszler turned her attention to Zoey and taunted her for calling herself the baddest in the WWE.

The interaction was great, and the fans were quite involved. However, many noticed the striking similarity between Baszler’s voice and that of a famous Anime character, Naruto. Fans quickly took to social media and commented on Baszler’s speech that all they could hear was Naruto. This hilarious comparison is something Baszler may not like if fans start chanting it during her matches.

The interaction with Zoey and Lynch led to a one-on-one, with Baszler taking on Zoey with Lynch at ringside. Once the match commenced, both women gave it their all. Despite coming off the heels of a hard match with Rousey, Baszler picked up the win with a swinging Samoan Drop. 

Nevertheless, the former UFC star has always displayed good mic skills to complement her skills.

Baszler’s mic skills have always been great despite Naruto comparison

Ever since Baszler joined the WWE, she has been a formidable foe to the women’s division. With her MMA background and brute strength, she has pushed her opponents to the breaking point. Despite her reserved demeanor, she has demonstrated incredible mic skills. Her rudeness and meanness come through exceptionally well while cutting promos. However, this time the fans could only hear Naruto while she cut her promo with Lynch.

On social media, fans poured in their thoughts on her voice.

While fans poke fun at Baszler’s voice, many are hopeful after her win against Rousey, she could get the push she needed. She has always been an outstanding performer but was never given a proper storyline or feud. The Shayna Baszler – Ronda Rousey feud could be the opening she needed to attain bigger and better things in the company.
