It was electric at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh after Jey Uso made his surprise return. The former Tag Team Champion was last seen competing for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Although Uso came very close to dethroning The Tribal Chief, his own twin, Jimmy Uso betrayed him.

In the wake of the double-cross, Jey Uso went to SmackDown and dished out Superkicks to Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso. After flying off the handle, Jey shockingly quit WWE. At one point, WWE even made his departure look believable. However, Jey Uso finally made his return the same way he left; with a powerful superkick. And this time, Grayson Waller was on the receiving end of it.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Grayson Waller shared an image showing the aftermath of the kick he received. In the picture, Waller can be seen using a Pepsi can as a makeshift cold compress for his recovery. In addition, he wants Jey Uso to face serious consequences for his actions. He wrote,

Jey Uso attacking me unprovoked on my own show- fire this man!” Many have seen this as a dig at the straight-edge superstar as Punk is infamous for naming his moves after the popular cold drink, Pepsi.

Back in his independent days, Punk decided to get a tattoo of the Pepsi logo on his arm and very soon it became synonymous with his identity. The “Best in the world” uses a signature move called Pepsi Twist and a finishing move called the Pepsi Plunge. The latter is a top rope underhook facebuster that he used to knock off former two-time WWE NXT champion Samoa Joe at AEW All In this past weekend.

Anyway, Uso’s shift to Monday Night Raw is WWE’s evident attempt to keep him away from The Bloodline for a while. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the 38-year-old star. As for Grayson Waller, it would make sense if he pursued the former Bloodline member to exact revenge. However, by the looks of things, Uso seems to be destined for greater things on Raw.

What’s next for the former tag team champion?

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso has developed into a main event star after colliding with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. At this point, it looks as though Uso has set out to have a solo career. It’s a no-brainer that Grayson Waller’s desire to see the returning star get fired is bound to go unheeded.

Shifting focus, while Uso is on Raw, he may get a crack at Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship. One should also note that WWE reportedly wants to pit The Uso twins in a brother vs. brother match at the grandest stage. But WrestleMania 40 is still a long way ahead.
