And after a standout performance from HOOK last night, Khan has been receiving his fair share of praise for booking him in the main event against the world champ.

The incident seems more like an unexpected call as it came amidst the wild social media rallies against the AEW head honcho for his comparison between Hook and WWE’s Jinder Mahal. But now it has all been appeased thanks to the blockbuster match for AEW World Championship featuring the ‘Handsome Devil’ HOOK.

He staged an incredible comeback and had the crowd at the edge of their seats.

While that tweet spiralled into a lot of ugly wrestling tribalism, as the championship match took place, the popular fan force changed their mind and found that Khan’s booking wasn’t bad after all. It turned out to be a great call to put Hook in a world title program.
