In his long career, there have been many moments of controversy, one of which was recently discussed by Vince Russo.

Recently, Vince Russo spoke about The Undertaker. He mentioned Undertaker’s reaction to Bret Hart’s controversial loss against Shawn Michaels at the 1997 Survivor Series. The ‘Montreal Screwjob’ is regarded as one of the most talked about incidents in the history of professional wrestling. Allegedly, Vince McMahon arranged for Hart to lose the match, without his or Shawn Michaels’ knowledge.

After the controversial defeat of Bret Hart, The Undertaker threw a chair across the room. During his interview, Vince Russo said, “Now, bro, I wanna make one thing perfectly clear. Between when I said that to Vince and the Survivor Series, two, three, four other people could have pitched the same thing.
I don’t know, I wasn’t privy to any of that… Bro, ‘Taker gets up, throws a freaking chair across the room, and I’m like, ‘Holy s***.’ Now, bro, keep in mind, I’m traveling with Vince, so I ain’t going nowhere.”

In 2020, The Undertaker revealed on The Bill Simmons Podcast that he wished he had known what would happen before the match. Instead of Michaels, the retired WWE legend would have presented himself as Hart’s opponent.
The Undertaker debuts at Survivor Series
The Undertaker debuted at Survivor Series in 1990. He was the mystery partner of WWE’s Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Team. He holds the record for most Survivor Series appearances, with 13 wins and 5 losses.
Last year, he took his retirement from the ring at Survivor Series. However, he is still in contract with WWE. Recently, the Undertaker was a part of an on-sale party at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, i.e. the venue for WrestleMania 38.

The Undertaker believes this year’s WrestleMania will be a hugely entertaining event for the fans and they will love it. The WrestleMania tickets are on-sale from 12h November. It will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. This year, WrestleMania is a two-night event.
