For those who don’t know, Black Adam is one of the most formidable bad guys in the DC universe. In DC comics, Adams is portrayed as the savior of the fictional city Kahndaq, which is close to Egypt. However, after obtaining control, he turns wild and becomes corrupt, killing even the Pharoah to take control of Egypt. The wizard Shazam then defeated him and took back his power to leave him imprisoned. Now, in the movie, after 5000 years, Adam makes a rebirth and strives to restore his superpowers.

While speaking with CBS’ Tracy Smith, considering Johnson’s character was pressed about, he was asked if he considered Black Adam a ‘villain’. Answering that, he said, “At times, I do, well, I consider him an anti-hero. But it’s like reading the Bible. It’s interpretative.” It’s notable that a villain is someone who is portrayed as evil and the one who opposes the hero, whereas an anti-hero can be termed as the main character who does not abide by the usual heroic traits.

Henry Cavill might make a cameo in Black Adam alongside Dwayne Johnson

For DJ’s upcoming movie, Black Adam, fans have long desired that Henry Cavill should play Superman. It wasn’t likely to be the case since Cavill didn’t have a contract with DC. However, the rumors indicate that Cavill will feature in the movie as he and Johnson share a very close bond.

However, despite the fact that DJ expressed some opinions on the conflict, no official remark has been made. Thus, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Kryptonian appears in the film. To know that, fans have to wait till October 21st.
