Millionaire Actress Once Revealed How Dwayne Johnson “Completely Ruined” Her Focus While Filming Major Hollywood Blockbuster

Many Hollywood actors have called working with Dwayne Johnson a fun ride. The Rock makes sure that his co-actors are comfortable by being the friendliest person he could be. 

Similarly, a few years ago, a top Hollywood actress gave her experience working with Johnson for the first time. Also, she recalled numerous times DJ made her laugh and ruined the close-up scenes during the shoot.

In 2019, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt had a quick interview with Access Hollywood at the D23 Expo. They were promoting The Jungle Cruise when Blunt and the Teth Adam actor recalled their favorite moment working with each other.

Johnson said, “My favorite moment on the set, honestly, is when the amount of takes that we ruined because I was just trying to make her laugh. In the mean(time) and completely ruined. I get such joy out of that.”

Blunt added, “Ruining my takes out of, ruining my close-ups trying to make me laugh and he did succeed. So it’s a miracle they caught anything together in this film. We truly had the best time. It was the best.”

The Mary Poppins actress has told several times about Johnson making her laugh during the entire filming of the movie. They had a great time while filming and this chemistry between is reflected in the movie. 

Moreover, when there was a year’s delay in releasing the movie because of the pandemic, Johnson and Blunt kept the buzz alive. They released their character-oriented movie trailer and took a shot at each other. The Great One in a funny way once threatened Disney to all Blunt’s video best.

Dwayne Johnson praised Emily Blunt

It is no secret that The Rock has always been a secret admirer of Emily Blunt’s work for the past few years. In the same interview, Dwayne Johnson shared his thoughts about Blunt’s talent and his experience working with ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ actress.

The WWE legend said, “It was amazing and I’ve been a big fan of Emily, jokes aside. I’ll talk about her as if she’s not here. I’ve been such a big fan of her for a very very long time (and) she knows this.”

Johnson wanted to work with her for a long time. They joked about DJ asking Blunt to be part of the project for Baywatch, San Andreas, and the Jumanji franchises. However, this opportunity came in the movie The Jungle Cruise and they are glad about this.

The movie received praise from the critics and there might be a chance both the stars would come back to do a sequel. However, as of now, Johnson and Blunt might work on another project, as they are good friends and are well-versed in each other’s work.
