Hold the vision, trust the process” is what Ronda Rousey has held on to, all her life. Hence, she has gained a reputation as one of the top female athletes in the world. The Rowdy One has always been at the top of the mountain, thanks to her determination. Nearly everybody is familiar with her. So, it would come as a shock to know that a legendary figure in Hollywood and an iconic martial artist didn’t know who Rousey was.

A few years ago, when this world-famous actor was questioned about Rousey, he had no clue about her. That legend is none other than Jackie Chan.

‘Rowdy’ dominated the UFC until late 2015 and was unbeaten with 12 straight wins, which propelled her career to new heights. In addition, she worked with significant movies in Hollywood, like The Expendables 3 and Fast & Furious 7.

When Jackie Chan was strolling down the sidewalk in Beverly Hills, TMZ caught a glimpse of him and started asking him some questions. One question they specifically asked was about Rousey’s skills, and Chan was extremely confused since he was unfamiliar with her. And he said, “Huh!! No.”

Well, it made headlines since Rousey had been the talk of Hollywood and the MMA scene at the time. And it was rather shocking since Chan is a legend in both. However, he might not have followed the UFC to know much about her.

Moreover, Chan, who is a martial artist like Rousey, reportedly gave Will Smith some advice.

Will Smith once received a life lesson from Jackie Chan

Although Will Smith and Jackie Chan have never collaborated on a film as actors, in the 2010 movie The Karate Kid, Chan and Will Smith’s son Jaden played the major roles, and Smith produced it. Also, once at a party, the Kung Fu master left Smith in awe.

According to Forbes, Chan attended a dinner party with Smith. Following the meal, Chan got up, grabbed his half-empty glass of water, and threw the remaining onto a potted plant. This practice of nurturing plants as a ritual after meals was inspiring to Will Smith, and it left him in awe. After that, the Men In Black actor praised this idea and promised to push his family to do the same as well.
