“Last Punch”- Smart Dodge or Hint: Dwayne Johnson Gives Eyebrow-Raising Answer to Potential Showdown with Henry Cavill’s Superman in DC’s Black Adam

WWE Champion turned megastar, Dwayne Johnson is currently ruling Hollywood. He established a reputation for himself as the safest bet for big-budget action blockbusters. Likewise, he will make his first appearance in a DC movie with Black Adam, which will release in a matter of days. Meanwhile, rumors of a Superman’s appearance are at an all-time high as the movie’s release approaches.

Speaking of the speculations, the Black Adam actor recently gave an interview where he discussed openly his fight scene with Henry Cavill’s Superman in the film where he provided an eyebrow-raising answer to the potential fight.

Jake Hamilton recently spoke with The Rock about the possibility of a confrontation between Black Adam and Superman. During the chat, Jake asked Johnson about who would deliver the opening punch in the most anticipated matchup.

Johnson replied, “I think Black Adam lands the first punch. Now I don’t know if Black Adam lands the last punch. Because I grew up a DC boy, I love superman, I loved Superman and I still do, clearly.”

The Rock made it crystal-clear that Black Adam would punch to start the battle in the movie. However, he is unsure yet whether he will deliver the last or not. This keeps the intrigue intact.

Additionally, it might imply that the legendary clash between the two most powerful forces in the DC is just getting started in this film. Where Adam delivers the opening strike, as Johnson indicated, that may be continued in the subsequent films.

Further in the interview, the interviewer asked DJ if there was already a scene in his mind about how the fight would be.

The Rock said, “I can think how that scene looks like what that the film looks like, what the next three films look like, now whether or not that comes to fruition that always helps when you have that kind of clarity. Here’s what I do know, listen to the fans when I was wrestling, always led and guided me just like now.”

DJ may have given a significant hint about the Black Adam vs. Superman fight when he mentioned that there might be three major movies. Indeed, after the DJ’s admission, it will be intriguing to watch who delivers the final blow.
