“It Just Looks Ridiculous”: Dwayne Johnson Made $80 Million Worth Hollywood Star Look Like His “Child” While Working Together

Since Dwayne Johnson transformed himself, fans got to see the former WWE champion into a new avatar. Despite his more than a large body, Johnson fits into any given role in the movie as required. Unsurprisingly, there have been many times when his co-stars looked very tiny in front of him in the film. On the same lines, one of the top actresses shared her experience of working with Johnson.

A year ago, while promoting Jungle Cruise, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt appeared on Hit Network. The British actress revealed how she had to stand on a stepladder to film and shared other experiences too.

Blunt said, “I still do, and that’s the sad part in this movie. Very often I was put on an apple box because otherwise…..I think there’s a picture someone took in week one of shooting. We’re walking away and talking about the script and I look like his child walking next to him. It just looks ridiculous. So I was often on an apple box.”

This is not the first time when the WWE legend’s co-actors have talked about this. Fans can easily assume which actor has talked about the height issue with The Rock – the one and only Kevin Hart.

After filming Jungle Cruise, Blunt also faced the same issue. Johnson is one huge human being while The Devils Wears Prada is 5’6” ft in height. Clearly, a stepladder or an apple box will be needed to shoot with The Rock.

Emily Blunt ghosted Dwayne Johnson for a long time

Emily Blunt wanted to take a break after shooting ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and ‘A Quiet Place’ back-to-back. Therefore, at first, she didn’t want to do Jungle Cruise. She had even declined to read a script of The Jungle Cruise.

Dwayne Johnson wanted Blunt in this movie after watching The Devil Wears Prada a long time ago. Thus, when the British actress declined, he wrote letters, left personal messages, and even sent videos to make her sign the movie.

However, she ignored multiple video messages from DJ who was trying to convince her to be in the movie. The Great One wanted to work with her in a movie.

In the end, when the director went to personally visit her, she signed the film. However, DJ claims a constant effort of him sending a few videos to Blunt made her accept the role and do the movie.
