“Feeling You Get Right After….”: Dwayne Johnson’s Female Co-Star Made a Stunning Admission After Kissing The Rock On-Screen

Dwayne Johnson has made himself prepared for many roles over the course of the last decades. However, very few instances have we seen The Rock in romantic scenes.

Surprisingly, one of the top female Hollywood actresses once revealed her experience of doing a kissing scene with Johnson. She gave a pun-intended answer to it.

As part of the premiere of their movie Jungle Cruise in July 2021, in an exclusive interview with E!, Emily Blunt gave her views on doing a kissing scene with Dwayne Johnson. She compared kissing DJ to brushing one’s teeth.

Blunt said, “Listen, the thing you’re missing out on, you know that feeling you get right after you brush your teeth? And it kind of feels fresh and it’s really nice? That’s not what you’re going to get.”

It seems using excessive mouthwash is a thing of DJ, as Blunt had some positive pun-intended experience. There are multiple scenes in The Jungle Cruise where Johnson and Blunt had to kiss.

Emily Blunt came clean on what it’s like to kiss Dwayne Johnson. Moreover, the gorgeous duo had a romantic scene that they had to do underwater.

I was a scene the cast filmed for two straight weeks on a set in Atlanta. Surprisingly, the only CGI used in that scene is for piranha. They filmed the rest of everything in the old classic way of film-making.

How did Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt prepare for the kissing scene?

A year ago, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt appeared for an interview with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans. There, Evans asked the stars about the kissing scene in their movie ‘The Jungle Cruise’ and also how they prepared for the same.

DJ instantly replied, “Yeah, dream come true for her” (laughs). Blunt said, “I literally had to turn to drama. The director was like, ‘How many of these do you need? Can we get it in one?’”

Evans asked ‘The Jungle Cruise’ stars about their reaction after the scene. Did they laugh or was there some other response? Blunt said, “We did laugh after it. I had to get drunk for it!” (starts laughing). Johnson jokingly replied, “Wow. I had to get high for it.”

Indeed, Blunt and Johnson were comfortable doing this amount of romantic scenes together in the movie, as they are professional actors. Moreover, the two share a good friendship and had fun with the crew on the set while filming for the movie.
