Logan Paul Has Always Been a Menace for the Anoa’i Family and It All Started With Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson: “He Basically Wants Nothing to Do With You”

It seems Logan Paul doesn’t have a great relationship with the Anoa’i family. Recently, Logan Paul had Roman Reigns on his show ‘Impaulsive’ and later had a confrontation with him on SmackDown. Similarly, Paul’s relationship with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson went from being good friends to never talking again.

‘The Maverick’ will go on to face ‘The Tribal Chief’ for the Undisputed WWE Universal Titles. However, his relationship with Reigns’ cousin, Dwayne Johnson, once went quite sour.

What happened between Logan Paul and Dwayne’ The Rock’ Johnson?

Logan Paul and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson were great friends. Moreover, Paul had got several opportunities to make a few videos with ‘DJ’ for his YouTube channel. However, things between them changed when ‘The Maverick’ uploaded the Aokigahara forest video on his channel.

In an interview, with True Geordie, Paul said, “I got a call from my publicist who also repped Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and she’s like, ‘Hey Dwayne has asked that you remove every picture and video that you’ve done with him and maybe in the future… the relationship can be reconciled. But for now he basically wants to nothing to do with you.’”

Paul understood why he was asked to do so, but he thought ‘DJ’ was an acquaintance. It disappointed him that ‘The Rock’ didn’t call or text himself to say so. The Maverick recalled Johnson sent him a message on Instagram, but he never replied to it.

Initially, Paul was in the good books of ‘DJ’, but after the video, things changed.

Similarly, Roman Reigns and Logan Paul had a great time on Impaulsive. However, ‘The Maverick’ took a shot at ‘The Head of the Table’ after he left. Paul stated he wanted to face Reigns and gave the example of how his second boxing match was against Floyd Mayweather. He was sure he would win.

Surprisingly, he appeared on that week’s episode of SmackDown and challenged Reigns. Subsequently, WWE confirmed their match at the press conference the next day for Crown Jewel in November this year.

Logan Paul messes up the names of The Rock’s family 

While ‘The Needle Mover’ was on the show, Logan Paul discussed the Anoa’i family history. However, he messed up a few names while saying them.

The Maverick said, “It’s that apostrophe “I” in the end. Anoa’i family then and you are Samoan. There is like a Bloodlike like A-NO-WA-E family in the WWE. High Chief Peter May-via, The Rock’s granddad, The Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, RASHIKI, Umaga, The Rock, The Usos (and) you.”

It did not impress Reigns, but he also didn’t make a huge deal out of it on the show.
