It was a shock to the wrestling world that WWE Legend and Hall of Fame Rocky Johnson had passed away. But imagine how it went for The Rock who had to juggle his movie schedule despite his loss. So it’s a relief when the man himself admitted that shooting Red Notice was a pleasure during this difficult time in his life.

About the support he had during this difficult time, Johnson said, “The trust was there, the love was there, the bond, the friendship, the brotherhood. The thing that really moved me most was the first day of Red Notice. Now, I’m really going to bring the energy up in the room. My dad died. So I had to leave, came back 5 days later after the funeral and everything. There was one person waiting for me the moment I walked in that door on set and it was Ryan.”

“Arms opened, gave me a big hug and a big kiss, and said, I got you, man. It really moved me and it meant a lot to me emotionally because everyone was so supportive, but my guy was right there waiting. I know he’d join that club, too. His father passed away, and that set the tone for the rest of the movie. I was anchored in this brotherhood that was beyond the movie.”

Ryan Reynolds has also been a household name in the action and rom-com movies of the 2010s. He is best known for his role in the Deadpool series, which broke barriers in the mainstream for superhero movies.
